55% of online shoppers would prefer to buy from retailers that have a physical store presence vs. online only (SCORE). This signals a larger consumer trend, trust is created in a physical experience. Customers want to make the best purchase they can, in fact, trying items in a store is 3x more influential than other purchase factors (SCORE); and although the quality of the products and pricing also influence the final purchase decision, it is really important to trust the brand. Trust is built upon more than just the product itself, there is no easier way to create trust than through real human contact.
